# I rushed it, and didn't think to have save it big. BUT. IF YOU HAS A TRANSPARENT PNG/VECTOR WHATEVER OF IT, I'd be glad to play with it all big type style.

# I wouldn't know how to go about making a pic transparent.
I downloaded gimp 2 the other day, would that work?
(, Sun 20 Apr 2008, 18:27, archived)
# I'm guessing you didn't draw it/save it as a foreground layer and a background?
(, Sun 20 Apr 2008, 18:28, archived)
# Nope, I just scanned it in as a jpeg.
Is there a way to select all the black areas and put them on a transparent background?
(, Sun 20 Apr 2008, 18:32, archived)
# Yeah, but it probably wont look great without anti-aliasing.
Anyway, that's not how you're supposed to colour. There's PS tricks, which I can't use, as I'm a CPSP person. I just deleted all the white and promoted the layer over a background.

# Interesting.
I'll see if I can get it figured out.
(, Sun 20 Apr 2008, 18:38, archived)
# yes
first you have to add a transpartent layer (Layer:Transparency:Add Alpha Channel). Then you can select the color you want to be transparent. Go to Layer:Transparency:Color To Alpha and select the color.
