I wish I hadn't thought of it - looking for the right image has led to a dependency on mind-bleach.

# Plusnet don't use the term "Unlimited"
You pay for 15 gbs a month, between the hours of 8am and midnight, after midnight it's free.
But my old deal was "unlimited" between midnight and 4pm! But was too expensive.

# So like I said. Why are you still with them.
A significant change in terms and conditions allows you to reject a contract without penalty and move somewhere else. The beauty of ADSL ( the only redeeming feature IMO ) is that you can treat it like your electricity and gas. The minute they change the terms or change the prices you simply go somewhere cheaper.

# It was me who changed it.
By going on the cheaper one, but now I get 30 gb for still £3 less than what I was paying.

# Ok mate.
Just as long as you are aware of your options.
I get capped myself but in a different way. I'm on 20GB cable but if I download more than 3gb between 4pm and 9pm or upload more than 1.4gb between 3pm and 8pm or download more than 6gb between 10am and 3pm then my bandwidth is cut to 4MB for 5 hours but I can still download as much as I want at that reduced rate.
If I download after 9pm and before 8am then I can download as much as I want at 20mb. I just have to manage the time I do large file transfer. It's crap but there are no chances of extra charges or being cut off.

New customers to Virgin can have 20mb at £26 a month for 12 months or a tenner a month for 6 months if you take a phone line.
