If MrHorrible's figures are correct and U2 made $255m last year - or in 2005 ;D ...
Split that 4 ways (each band member) = $63m
Divide by 12 (months in the year) = $5.3m
Divide by 20 (working days a month - he takes a few days off a month) = $265,625
Divide by 7 (hours of work a day - he doesn't work through lunch) = $37,946 per hour
So every hour he's standing at the front of a charity function he's giving them $37,946
And how much have you given this year?
