is NEARLY right...

But just needs that little 'magic'? I can't put my finger on what is wrong here, although something is.

-the scenery is a bland gradient, there's no indication of where they are or what's happening
-what is that black thing?
-why is she sad? is she sad about the black thing?

So just about everything then. Back to the drawing board!

the perspective seems bit a bit off, given that the building is seemingly some way in the background and the angle of line moving towards the vanishign point it would assume you were looking up towards somethign relatively tall.
This means for the woman to be in shot down the front it would have to be from a very low angle in which case the angle from shich she is drawn is off, or the "camera" would have to be somewhat closer to her, meaning she should be relatively bigger in the image.
Making her a bit larger and shifting to the left somewhat to lessen the gap inbetween may result in a more cohesive image.
Though, this is all thinking of things from a slightly more realism angle rather than purely artistically, so keep that in mind too.

It also seems unexpectedly tall. And the horizon is missing, unless we're up in the air somewhere.
...oh, SFN said all that. Well he's right.

I think I understand. I only started 'drawing' a couple of years ago so there are rules I have yet to learn. I wasn't allowed to take Art at school way back when either.
