I don't think there's that much excitement about the Olympics here at all.

I have to admit that some of the coverage here is disgracefully biased "OH AND A WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE FROM THE AUSTRALIANS THERE TO FINISH TENTH! A MARVELOUS, COURAGEOUS PERFORMANCE THERE!!" and you find out who won the next day in a little byline on page 10 of the paper...

What I like best about these Olympics is the way America are doing the winners tables in a different way to the rest of the world, just so they can pretend China aren't beating them.
According to their way of doing it, winning a bronze is just as good as winning a gold medal.
