Sorry to TJ:
Can anyone help me out? I'm having some computer trouble.
Windows Explorer won't start when I log in, so I have to load up task manager and run firefox that way (and explorer fails when I run it through task manager, too).
I looked on google and found some people badgering on abotu viruses but I scanned and found nothing (unsurprising, seeing as I just clean installed last night).
I'm running Vista and I think it may have been the updates or something, I'm not sure.
Any ideas?

there's probably some specific reason for this generic fail

that involves searching on google and stuff and perhaps someoene has cracked this

there might even be info on microsfots website about it

edit: also try safe mode and making sure that bootlogging is on

so at least it might leave some clue as to what is borked
