Plus there's the fact that you don't say "histories" even though there's clearly more than one facet of history study, just as there are multiple branches of mathematics. Just doing my histories homework.

seems culturally correct for the area in which you live.
A bit like driving. I'm sure many people could argue about which country drives on the 'correct' side of the road, but I am going to use the side of the road that doesn't have me driving head on into a truck.

i would advise against drinking nyquil or anything of that nature, I end up having cough-wracked hallucinations all night long, without getting any actual sleep.
