try to set a quota for yourself each day, at least 30 seconds of footage. i personally get discouraged easily so chugging along is the best answer.

having constant lighting is a bonus. might build a little light box to shoot my scenes in

don't ever shoot stop motion in natural light unless it's intended or unavoidable; any light works, even a desk lamp, but the main thing is to make sure whatever camera you're using is not set to autofocus or autoexposure; that's what will come back to bite you.

buggering off to canada for 6 months.. and I need a lighting rig and a view assist camera.. so I'm not sure whether to do it when i can afford those.. or leave it and do it as my major project when i go back to uni next year... decisions, decisions.
but gaz me or similar when yours is done.. I love a bit of stop motion me :D

no the two things are seperate. i'm saving for canada so i can;t afford to get those things i need for the project.

sorry bout the light, it was shot with natural light over a couple of minutes and i didnt think to match colors on all the frames before giffing

in my brain this was a film about barbie dying from breast cancer... there was going to be another scene of her on a hospital bed at the end but i ran out of time.. as it was for a uni project. so i jsut whacked a green line microsoft paint drawing of the heart monitor thing.. but you tube devoured it. bah humbug :)
