# Just in case nobody reads the links board
Does anybody know why Youtube always runs the frame rate of a movie slower after an upload. Does anybody know what framerate the uploaded video should be for it to run at the correct speed once it is uploaded but with the sound still in sync?

# oh dear...
Not an advisable strategy, but - being helpful...

YouTube converts the video on upload into Flash Player version 7* files, and the framerate invariably gets dropped.
Basically, it's because they are rubbish.

Edit: *And the video codecs supported in FP 7 are all rather shit.

Sorry for all the technical jargon - 'shit' means 'not very good'
