Buckley comes under the same banner as Cobain and Lennon, he died while people still liked him, so he can do no wrong in the eyes of his fans. fucking hero worship for frankly mediocre talents (yeh Buckley had the voice, but could he write for shit? we'll never know)

but Gracewas thrown together, VERY quickly after he recorded the track for his dad's tribute album and only 4 of the tracks are written by him (there are several co-writes, but there's no way of telling how much input he had so they don't count)
I still don't think that Buckley's Hallelujiah is anything special, nor do i think he'd have had the success he has had if he hadn't died. To be fair he'd probably still be working and recording, but he'd not have the massive "fan" base that he has today
