he was a rare original talent. :(

Although I always hoped he would give his blessing to a modern remake of the Prisoner... my fear now is that someone will do a crap remake that rips the soul out of it. And sets it in LA or something.

Wasn't there a rumour about a remake with Christopher Eccleston as no.6? Now that would be cool - as long as Russell T Davies kept well clear.
