Not to be a whinger or owt bud........

there's the shop option.

take a person, shop the crap out of it (but make sure it's still vaguely recognisable.) if people get into it that way then everyone can be happy.

I don't see how that is a caricature. Merely a mashing of his photo as far as I can see....

it's exaggeration to create a portrait, (by mashing a photo)

there is also the approach taken by prodge in a pic that i thought would be good for the compe: take a pic of shane mcgowan and shop the gob onto a feathery bird, and give it a big glass of the black stuff.

boom. also recall the front page by TGA, where he shopped a george lucas beard onto jabba.

this is what i had in mind...

the epitome of caricature. A caricature is not exclusively a drawing and neither is it always an image.

I thought a caricature

was a depiction of a characteristic of a person, be it physical or otherwise.

So the robot suggests Stephen Hawking's awesome technical brain?

Perhaps?

Maybe?

Well, I didn't think it was just mashing up someone's face to make them look different anyway.
