take a person, shop the crap out of it (but make sure it's still vaguely recognisable.) if people get into it that way then everyone can be happy.

there is also the approach taken by prodge in a pic that i thought would be good for the compe: take a pic of shane mcgowan and shop the gob onto a feathery bird, and give it a big glass of the black stuff.
boom. also recall the front page by TGA, where he shopped a george lucas beard onto jabba.
this is what i had in mind...
