SERIOUSLY?!?
I must resign from work immediately! I spent all day selecting the zoo's new postcards from my image database as well given it hasn't been done since the nineties, I felt kind of important, especially given I slipped in quite a few of my photos :)

You may work with monkeys.
But at least you are one of the important ones ;)

Solo, our Kestrel

yes! In your face Attenborough!
I am blessed to live in an area which supports quite a few pairs of Kestrels. We had a fox in the garden before Christmas and it was refreshing to see a big, healthy dog fox and not the mange-ridden skeletons I'm used to running over in Shepherd's Bush.

The foxes my neck of the woods tend to be of the mange-ridden skeleton type
sad, pathetic looking creatures

Fox, best animal ever!
Love them. Although a kestrel is certainly on the list.

dandy sir
was meant to comment the other day, illustrated above, on how i love the way that camera of yours really throws the background of an image into complete zero depth of field obscurity, lovely effect. also *applauds photographer

Prime lens' tend to do that
The 85mm f/1.2 is a legend for the background blur or Bokeh
