OK - questions for the oldies.

Do you
a) remember Tandy stores?
b) remember having a Tandy battery card, whereby you could get a free battery every month?
c) think I've lost it here?

EDIT: FUCKING YES! - *DOES THE STILL HAS IT DANCE*

# there was two electronics stores in newark (my town.. it's an anagram of wanker and that really is all it's got going for it)
One didn't have computer games and one did... and I'm pretty sure it was the Tandy that didn't.

then they were bought out by Currys?

trying to remember stuff from the early 90's is hard when you were between 5 and 10 during them

# yep I have the same memory issues.
I think our Tandy only had a few games, which seems odd if you remember them not stocking any.

Used to be one on Shandwick Place here in Edinburgh. Only went there once, to buy a button battery - sales assistant was surly and unhelpful and assumed I was an idiot. Never bought from them again.

Including the eyes on most kids.

I did see PJ Harvey in Acorn Records when I was about 15, though. I think I probably had a massive wank about it later or something.

# Yeah but no but yeah.
I didn't have the battery card, but I used to have just about every type of A/V cable and adaptor they sold under my bed at Uni.

I also remember getting a hand-held Tetris game that got me through some tedious 'guest' lecturers.
