so i went to a junk shop today, and there i found:
mister jaws, by dickie goodman, was released in 1975 and i used to see the 45 kicking around junk shops regularly. i never bothered with it (novelty records aren't my thing), but when the sampling arguments began to rage i thought it would be amusing to have on hand. when i saw the hand-drawn cover not even a giant shark could have kept me from owning it.
want to hear the sound of steven spielberg not suing someone? youtube once again saves the day. dickie goodman had a slew of other novelty recorde, most or all of them heavy with samples. there was a follow-up to mr. jaws as well, the cunningly-titled mrs. jaws.
clix for more sharx.

I actually owned that record. I might still have it.
I was a huge Jaws fan back in the day.

Nope, as it's not Obama's stimulus bill.
It is really just "Shrub Co.'s one last raid" bill.

At a guess I would have thought that various Bush-averse Democrats supported (and wrote) the bill
while various Bush-friendly Republicans were against it.

Agitprop: It works!
Nope, was written and approved(by the insiders political and economic)
before Obama had even won the election. His win just made them change
their tune to that of opposition... to exactly what they wanted from the start.

According to the Guardian
It was written by "congressional democrats". I don't really know what that means, or who the people mentioned are, but I've got a vague idea that Nancy Pelosi is not in cahoots with the Bush family.

Why would you say that?
Has she ever challenged them on anything?
More to the point, the Gunardin is often full of shit.
Drafted before this session, and no the Dems
did not have "control" of congress until January.
Also
One might point out until Minnesota they still don't
have enough to claim control of the situation.
Also also
Lieberman and so many others, alas.

Well *wikipedias*
opposition to the 1991 gulf war, opposition to the Iraq war, opposition to the troop surge in Iraq, pro-minimum wage, pro-medicare, against exploration for oil in the Arctic, and called Bush a "total failure".

Talk is cheap, check the voting record and you'll scream...
...as loud as most of the Progressives in the USA. She's a fucking Janus faced old trout, so they say.
I tend to agree with that assessment. Pork both for her district and her personally is a 100% fact that is rather hard to ignore when you add it all up.
