# Blog spam Vector

CFB (B=Blog)

If anyone can give pointers as to why I suck at vectoring eyes then please give me a hint. They never come out right.

# Find fuck off massive pictures so you can vector all the details exactly.
Ask IVV, she can actually do it.

Nicely as ever.

# I grab the pics from the crappy DVD,
If there is there a better way that PRTSCRN from Media Player I'll take it.

# Hmm, depends who you ask

# thats why i stick to vectoring inanimate objects
they have no eyes!
(, Tue 3 Mar 2009, 0:34, archived)
# I should try that strategy.

# Right then I'm off to watch True Blood!
night!

# You need to add specular highlights to indicate they're rounded, otherwise they look flat.
Also he appears to have no pupils. I can't see any; dunno if they're there in the full-sized version.

Have a picture of my mum's pussy.

# Nice puss

# It's as you see it.
I tried pupils, but it looked too wierd so I removed.

I like your mums pussy. Seems different to how I remembered it though.

# Your mum's pussy is very furry
Can I stroke it?

# Yes, you may.

# COR!

# Colour, that's why.
Also
shading

To unpack: Your eyes(whites) are too dark and the iris is too bright.
On jacket, the shade and colour are too far apart. The highlights
in the hair are too bright. Dim the teeshirt and fix eyes first. then play.
Still good though, just suggesting possible improvements.

# On earlier pics I was toying with shading using different opacity percentages
rather than shades of colour. It just looked too soft and velvety though.

I went with loads of different colours for eyes but they were all wrong. I think it's that the source pic was much more in shadow, but I lightened my shades because it looked too dark.

Hell I don't know. It's more complicated with copious wine quantities inside you, I reckon.

How Logovend can do these in 7 shapes, but it takes me over 100.... bastard.

# Talent.
If I knew which shop IVV, Logovend and
others bought it, I'd sell my family for some.

# I have a feeling they don't come from the school of
'just get drunk and do what you can in 3 hours...'

It's probably the shop of 'Patience', 'Effort' and 'Pride in your own work'. Something wierd like that.

# No!
You need MORE wine!

# logovend takes advantage
of certain tools in Xara extreme that make vector images quick and easy.
(, Tue 3 Mar 2009, 1:13, archived)
# It depends upon what you set out to do and what method you are using.
First off are you actually making vector images? Are you using a vector package, creating vector shapes with bezier curves and handles that you then assign colour to or are you just using a pixel paint program to select areas adn fill tem with pisel colour?
If you use the second method then either drop it and use the first method for actual vector images. If you want to stay with the paint method then drop all pretence of vectoring and learn all you can from google about cell shading and learn to do that better. ( I suggest the videos at www.digitalarttutorials.com )
If you do want to use illustrator and make vector images then google all you can about gradient mesh vectors and learn how to do that.
The most convincing work is done with that technique as can be seen here.
