I preferred Tekken 3.
I unlocked everything in that game, every pre-rendered cutscene, every alternative costume.

I only ever played as Yoshimitsu or Law... Very occasionally Kazuya. Never bothered with the rest....

That was a good game
I was unbeatable as the kickboxing guy on that, whose name I now forget
Then there was Goldeneye as well, a mate of mine at uni got every single cheat you could

You mean Hwoarang?
The only guy ever named after the noise made when you expectorate.

I preferred Baek-a-cake personally.
I've called him that for so long I can't actually remember his real name now.
Also Gun Jack from Tekken 2 was pretty awesome.

It was the only time I actually wanted to buy a console based on one game!

Were you like me and watched the Gon end sequence again and again for HOURS AND HOURS!
Also Tekken Ball was the best thing ever, sucks they didn't include it in the later ones.

YES.
I still frighten my kids by shouting "THE KING OF IRON FIST TOURNAMENT" when they least expect it.

Fuck I love making random noises from old games.
I remember making the hilarious fighting noises Sub Zero and Liu Kang make in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks at my nieces all the time.
Incidentally that game has the best and unintentionally hilarious opening sequences ever.

Heh heh
I still regularly shout 'CHICKEN' in a deep growly voice when we have chicken based meals.

Haha fuck I forgot about that.
I think the best ridiculous quotes must be Yoshimitsu in Soul Calibur 3, I mean the fuck was up with his voice?

I never played that.
His camp 'MMMmmmmmm!' noise always makes me laugh. Like Kenneth Williams in a chimney with a lemon stuck up his arse.

Tekken 3 onward, same thing
although I have lost all enthusiasm for Tekken 6, despite its having Bryan Fury firing a shotgun as a finishing move

I have Tekken Tag for the PS2
since my PS ONE carked it. It's not the same. Bryan Fury is ace, though.

Me and my mates loved tag
pisses me off that they've ommitted the option ever since

Bryan was always my favourite.
Let's face it, you can't go far wrong with zombie punks, can you?

I've not even seen Tekken 6 yet...
Dead or Alive 2 on PS2 was excellent... Jann Lee was awesome.. "Waaah-taaaaah!"

I loved Tekken 3
on the PS2. ( Tekken 2 on the PSone wasn't it )
It was the only console game that when I picked up the controller I was confident that someone was getting a new hole tearing and that it would not be me for a change.
