She didn't come across well at all, sounded like one of the "political correctness gone mad!" Daily Mail brigade. But it's easy for our generation to criticise older generations, we were brought up in a much less overtly racist environment. My old gran was horrifically racist but I thought little less of her for it. I dare say that our generation will be guilty of some sort of ism that younger generations will tut and shake their heads about.
Nice picture, for someone who isn't particularly famous I could tell immediately who it was supposed to be.

When it's someone of that age group I tend to be a little embarassed and amused by racism, while if it's someone of working age I'm saddened. I suppose it means we've made some progress at least.
