Meant as a reply to previous, sorry! Won't delete.

# Wouldn't worry, Pasa isn't about to cry about it and make out that he owns the place

# this is awesome but ive a feeling you may be in trouble

# This is a nice idea

shame about the glitches and double posting

7/10 needs more Buffy

# I concur
I'm currently wondering if full-on photoshop is worth the cash. Animating with elements is busting my chops.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:17, archived)
# I don't believe animating in Photoshop will be much better though

That is to say, I've never animated in elements. But I can tell you it does the same to me in PS.

# If your main thing is creating or editing gif animations
then personally I don't think full-on Photoshop is a good investment. Gif creation and handling are the things it now does worst of all.

# I like his little jaunty hop
(whether it is intentional or not)
slight TJ: What is the British equivalent for Mediamarkt, if any?
(aka a DVD-CD-electronics store chain with incredibly low prices)
I'm pond-hopping next month and was hoping to shovel me a few tonnes of cheap DVD-boxes.

# Erm,
I would say Comet if anyone.

Depends what you are after though? If you want Home Entertainment stuff, you can't go wrong with Richer SOunds.

EDIT: Where are you going in Britain? Comet will do cheap DVD cases I would imagine....
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:19, archived)
# Richer are still going?
That's amazing.

# They most coitanly are!
I love the place :D All my stereo equipment ever has come from there.

# Sorry, I meant DVD-boxes of TV series :D
Not blank cases.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:23, archived)
# Ah right!
How long are you here for? And where are you staying? If you are staying with a friend or some such, I would say get stuff delivered to theirs from Play.com ;)

Otherwise, HMV and Zavvi normally have some pretty good deals on the high street.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:24, archived)
# Sounds like a plan!
I'm mostly going to blow everything on comics anyway.
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:28, archived)
# I thought Zavvi went tits up with Woolworths?
They certainly were in administration. They were selling off all stock in January.

Buying media on the high street in the UK is a ridiculous idea now.
You are better off with Play.com

# Why not buy them at MediocreMarkt then?

or are you just like me and won't you be caught dead inside one?
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:22, archived)
# Well, I've been there, but since the pound is quite low, I'd like to compare prices :)
I'm visiting a friend up North, and profiting from the exchange rate at the same time.

# Anyone know how to convert a tune straight off a CD to an mp3 file (much smaller file size) in iTunes?
Pretty pleeeeze :)
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:21, archived)
# In the settings you can set it to rip as an mp3.
In the Edit tab, preferences etc?
(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:21, archived)
# No preferences in the edit tab mate
*scratches head*

Oh I see it, when you import *doh*

(, Mon 18 May 2009, 21:25, archived)
# Hmmmm.
I'm trying to remember, I haven't used iTunes in a while.

Have you looked elsewhere for it?

EDIT: See Pasa's response below :) I didn't realise it was all different set up on a Mac :D
