# Bindun?
If it has, are you going to delete it? If not, why do you care?

Why do people ask this?

WHY???

WHY??????????????????????????????????????

In other news, I'm eating toats with pindakaas.

I've got all of 3 mins tied up in finding, editing, and posting this pic. Cruising the whole board to see if anyone else has done it first could take an hour. I'd delete it if it was a repeat. Still takes less time than looking it up. Still all in good fun tho. :)

# slight TJ:

I would like to keep a proms concert from last week, but am darned if I know how to go about getting a permanent copy of it - grr

# I've got a feeling you can use Audacity
It gives you the option of input method (as a guitarist I use linein) but I believe if you use one of the other options it takes the audio from erm windows or something.

Someone help me out here!

# that sounds promising.
bear in mind I have NO technical knowledge of such matters, so it needs ot be idiotproof, and easy to do

/and the darned concert falls off the iplayer tonight at 11.30pm, I forgot to ask before - gah!

# What operating system are you using?
You can record from the sound card pretty easily if you have XP (stereo mix, as Jeru said) - if you have Vista you may have to do something else

# I'm fairly sure you can actually rip the video out of iPlayer in flv format fairly easily with some software
Probably easier than having to play through the whole thing on record.

# It's DRM'd though, and they frequently update the encryption to keep away the cracking programs
Stereo Mix / Wave Out recording is the only method I've found.

# Errr, if it's running through flash embedded then it's on your computer and can be saved somehow.
It's just a case of finding the right program.

EDIT: This appears to be recommended

Or alternatively this if it's just an audio concert and not video

# Also, if you can't sort it by tonight you could download the programme you're after, then you'll have another 30 days (I think) to get it before it self-destructs
(, Tue 25 Aug 2009, 20:53, archived)
# sadly it's not available to download, but i have managed to start the stream with mono only
/stereo version not showing up on the audacity version, but it's still comign down, which is nice :)

/and running xp pro fella, as per yopur question up above
(, Tue 25 Aug 2009, 21:05, archived)
# Yeah, you should be able to just set it to stereo mix to record whatever sounds are happening on your pc.
(, Tue 25 Aug 2009, 20:42, archived)
# I think that was the word I was looking for
Because I ended up doing it accidentally one day

# Creative Recorder

Lets you record 'what you hear', i.e. what's coming out of your sound card. It's immensely idiot proof.
(, Tue 25 Aug 2009, 20:54, archived)
# Okay, ignore me then

FINE
