fwiw, it's a song that means an awful lot to me. i recently took a huge risk and went for a new job, up here in sheffield. the catch being that when i started, i still had a baby in the intensive care unit at chelmsford hospital. we struggled to sell our house, and took a £13,000 loss just to try and get us back all living together...

pretty stressful, and all based on the hope that i was as good at my job as i had sold myself as - if not, i'm up shit creek, as there's not that many places you can do what i do, and i was burning bridges by going up north when i did.

s, quite litterally, sat in a rented room, terrified that i had made the wrong choice, thinking about my poorly, miniscule daughter on oxygen, and my partner left to cope with it all on her own, the song assumed a personal meaning for me.... cliched, but still.... 'i wont fuck us over, i'm mister november...'
