but I would suggest that basing a play on Jesus as a transsexual is a little bit attention-grabby. I'm not against a bit of blasphemy, but I would suggest the theatre group are getting the response they were aiming for.
Edit: oh, i see where I was unclear. I meant that the protestors base their religion on a book claiming to speak in god's name, so they ought to be more open-minded about a theatre group purporting to speak in god's name.
