# Fucking chavs.
I suggested a violent cull of the lower orders the other day - of everyone below £15pa.

It didn't go down very well with the whiny, worthy, self-righteous brigade, but it was easy to tell that they knew deep down that I'm right.

# I look forward to seeing you filling their post at the factory
You can't cull people who are earning, the lost taxes and required labour to keep all the self righteous people in their warm, well stocked, comfy houses would be a disaster.

Maybe cull the stupidly rich and elite instead

# bloody Golgafrinchans
i say the ease with which society is dealing out backhanded slaps to anyone who is seen to be a 'chav' (in this case, low earners, in which a huge category of people are swept), is another symptom of rising right wing sentiment amongst not just the disenfranchised working classs, but indeed amongst for comfortable middle classes.

it'll all end in tears, :(

edit: though for what it is worth, the factory workers at my last job earned more than the design office staff, and indeed most office workers short of the execs.

# usually because they put in ridiculous hours
I know back when I was a young'un temping at factories through long night shifts was an easy way to get rich quick (comparatively).
But the normal pay was still shit and the jobs never lasted

# it varies i suppose.
the chaps working int he factory at Maclaren are clearly highly trained individuals with massive skills, and are doubtlessly paid accordingly. depends on what the factory is!

ours made cardboard boxes. :)

you're bob on though - the path to higher earnings was the night shift+ overtime. 100% on top of basic pay night bonus, plus double time on top for overtime.

some of the team leaders were higher rate tax payers.

I'll have my man shoot you the moment you step near the garden wall.

# that's a lot of lost tax revenue
shouldn't it just be those long term unemployed that are actually draining the country through the benifits system.
