# i'm uneasy about this whole challenge
i don't know why, i just am. having said that, yay nena!

# I am very uneasy about this challenge
I honestly think it's going to get B3ta blacklisted in a lot of workplaces.

People walking by screens will just see swastikas etc.

my opinion - sorry if it annoys others.

# i agree
i made a comment that has just fallen into the spazz, which everyone ignored/disagreed, except sadmike.

# ahh, i wasn't here much today
i agree with you, i think. still, if they had won, we certain;ly wouldn't be here doing this. right, i'm off to do an albert speer version of cambridge

# it's one of those ones
where it's easy to do the quick n nasty ones so it's a bit sparse on imagination. so far. the winners will be absolute belters.

i had to turn off today. maybe i'm overly sensitive, it's just a bit close to home *shrugs, wanders off*

# it is difficult though
because there is little that is off limits with b3ta, and that is part of the beauty,

but who knows, maybe this theme is a little much, or maybe by objecting we're being complete fascists anyway

0% of fact either way.

# 99.9% of the time i love everything on here
just can't quite get into this one. ah well, that's democracy. ironically.

# There may be little that is off limits
but the NSFW warning is used frequently.

I assume this is used to ensure that people at work will not be censured for viewing material that could damage the company (or its reputation).

I'm pretty sure, even just the sight of a swastika (even if used in what some believe to be a hilarious post) would be NSFW in some workplaces.

# and another thing...
what's with all the "made me laugh... a bit" commentaries?
doesn't anyone remember the good ol days when anything we did made everybody else spray copious amounts of tea and biscuits out of their eternally full mouths all over their soaking, crumb-encrusted monitors?

/irony I actually like the more subdued woos, that adds more weight to the real tea/bisquits/monitor exlamations
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 21:44, archived)
# I have never sprayed tea or biscuits over my monitor.
Although I once had a nasty moment with a Müller Fruit Corner (Lemon Cheesecake), that nearly ended in tears.

I ain't wooed much lately, you are correct.
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 21:50, archived)
# mmmmmmm
lemon cheesecake
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 21:57, archived)
# Have you tried them?
Yoghurt, but it tastes like cheesecake. Genius.
I am fat.

# I haven't
but sainsbury's do a set of four pie-themed fromage frais; apple pie, rhubarb crumble, lemon and strawberry cheesecake. Deeeelicious. Sadly they have stopped stocking them in the Sainsburys next to my office. I anyone locates them in other sainsburys I'd be glad of the information.
Anyway I'd imagine they'd equal them in deliciousness. More so in fact, due to the added fatteningness.

# That'll be the day!
Look, can you hear the sound of my arse healing up? Thought not, ye skinny get :) You're the only bloke I know who can eat pies and not get fat!

# it's a bit odd
i wonder if it's cos there's so many people who know each other in *real life*
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 21:52, archived)
# I must learn to
spray the contents of my mouth onto my monitor, it sounds safer that way. A couple of pics have almost caused me to choke because I was eating/drinking at the time.

# I remember
when this were all fields.

# oh thank god you're here
i don't recognise any night people. i feel at home again

# Slightly repetitive.
Limited subject matter. I like the totally general compos. Just me though.

[I'm only bitter 'cos I need to rest my digits]

# Ooooo.
Luftballons...

I seem to remember Witchy buying that on holiday in Germany years and years and years ago, probably before the war.... He was quite proud of that.

# he's not THAT old

is he ;)
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 21:46, archived)
# He is.
He's always on about the rationing of Brown Ale and Takeaways.

# Bought it before
the Boer war mate. It was the original version by Count Ludwig von Lederslappen and his Bavarian band of horse worriers and chicken nerve-testers (they'd sneak up behind 'em and shout 'BOO', though they'd never do that to geese). I think it was originally titled '99 Biersteins'
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 22:09, archived)
# Likes a bit of Lederslappen.
Have you got the 12" remix?
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 22:19, archived)
# No, but I've got the
Ludwig van Hire speedcore mix by Hetz von hudson.
(, Fri 28 Mar 2003, 22:28, archived)
# that's actually a super peacnik text there...
but that's ok, at least it's in german and a scary font.
