We have to wait until the 6th of Jan (Kings Day) before we can officially tell chrimble to fuck off (presents happen on the 6th)

While we're opening presents my Dad's standing there holding a bin liner open, telling us to put the wrapping paper in it. Then when the opening of presents, the focus of Christmas and festive fun is over, he ties the bag up noisily and walks to the bin saying "Right, Christmas is over for another year".

ours was done by the time the queen had finished talking, just as it should be. i'm glad the rest of the world has finally caught up with me now, roll on easter.

they build up to it from November and then you get all the cookery programs and when it happens you just sit there ina drunken stupor thinking "Is that it!?"
