I'm confused. Is the problem with the monitor you are using to view this page on monitors?
Or is it the monitor page itself that is causing problems for the monitor you are viewing it with?

my monitor is dying fast and i need a replacement, but i now nothing about these things
just been having a bit of a clean, room had more dead skin in it than babs windsor's loofah, turned monitor on its side, unplugged, and anow i've got a nasty blue/green shaded bit in the corner, almost as if the colour has all run, it's an oldish 17" dell jobby with a tube which i still rather like, never seen a flat screen that has the richness of colour of a tube but...

Have you moved things around?
I get that colour run if I have my speakers too close to the screen. It's the magnets or something?
