# can't see it on teh beeb,
but it's on www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/local/5036298.UPDATE__Bomb_alert_in_city_centre/

THE bomb squad is understood to be on its way to Worcester city centre after a suspect package was found.

Emergency crews were called to St Mary's Street at 11.08am after a 'suspect package' was discovered in County House.

A 100-metre cordon has been put in place and police and fire officers have evactuated both County House and the surrounding buildings, including Worcester Crown Court.

West Mercia Police has confirmed that "specialist teams" are dealing with the incident.

St Mary's Street and Sansome Walk have been closed to the general public and it is understood that traffic is being severely affected in the area.

Last time this happened wasn’t it someone’s lunch box?! Better to be safe than sorry though.

# Well, obviously... I mean, who forgets to pack their C4 in their lunchbox before they go to work?
Buying hand grenades from the vending machines in the office is just too expensive these days.

I got interviewed by some hack during Operation Crevice, when the filth closed off our street so they could a) get more donuts and b) fail to catch the guy they'd been staking out for 6 weeks

this hack seemed satisfied that the only information I gave him was that I lived in the same street
