Camp B3ta - Camping holiday

Come and have some fun under canvas

CAMP B3TA 2008

Camping fun at a small holiday park on the edge of the Yorkshire dales.
The park has children's play facilities, a bar with evening entertainment and wifi access.

Come and sing songs around the campfire, have a laugh with some b3tans and enjoy a few days under canvas for a giggle.

details

Upwood Holiday Park is pleasantly situated close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park,
one mile from the Brontë village Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway.
Our accommodation boasts panoramic views over
the beautiful surrounding countryside.

We have available pitches for the dates you require. These are grass pitches with hook-ups. Rate would be £14.50 per night per unit. This includes for unit, vehicle and up to 4 persons, and yes you will need to pay a deposit.

I've camped there before, last year.

It's a very good site! Although it's quite a long way up, so not ideal if you suffer from vertigo.

How do you get there though?

On public transport: get a train to Keighley first.

Then get the M1 or M3 buses, which go down the main road neaby (Blackmoor Road). The 720 also goes down Hebden Road, which is a bit further.

Sounds good...

Although I think I have a bunch of exams just around then, so prob not gonna make it! (It is my last year, the one that counts like[degree])

I'll be driving down from Sedbergh (cumbria)

probably via leeds.

If anyone needs a lift let me know, I don't mind going a bit out of my way.

edit: I passed my test so I'm definitely coming and I have space in the car. Shout if you want a lift.

It would be quicker to go via Settle and Skipton.

Well, my mother lives in north leeds

so I'd call in on her on the way

Hopefully I will have a lovely microbus by then.

Though chances of me having fitted a camper interior to it are slim.

Well, my last exam's on Monday that week.

So if a) I have the requisite gear and b) someone can give me a lift from the Wakefield area, I may well attend.
