21 Feb. Cackers Pub Bash London

Let us meet and drink together, B3tards. I have changed the venue to the Yorkshire Grey, to accommodate one of our brethren. We all have had *those nights* I'm sure.

Looking forward, and hope many will be able to attend.

Hmmm

If I can organise cat cover for an evening and a morning, I might do this.

Interestingly, my team are playing Fulham on the Sunday, which makes the whole thing more attractive.

Apart from one small problem...

But you could try sneaking in

Here are some suggestions:
• Dig a tunnel.
• Wear camouflage-gear and cover yourself with leaves and crawl in through the front.
• Crawl in through the sewer (but remember to 'de-activate' the toilet-bear first).

I think you'll find that it is possible for me to attend a bash and only have one or two drinks, not fall over, throw up, lez off with someone or announce to the whole pub that I want to be double-teamed you're right :(

British Rail are Mongs

The last train back from London to Birmingham on a Saturday leaves at 21:43. WTF? It used to be 22:30 which was still shit, but at least allowed most of a night out.

Coaches, on the other hand... There's one at 23:00. And Victoria - where it goes from - is on the same underground line as Oxford Circus, which is not far from the Pub. Doable, very doable...

It's still unlikely I'd make it for the twin reasons I'd then have to get back to Droitwich and that I'm not really much of a qotw poster, but it's something to think about at least. I have no plans for the weekend and potentially a bit of scratch if my ebay stuff sells as predicted.

off the top of my head. I booked it via their website, I think it would be about £23 if you booked on the day.

If I'd booked it when I first investigated it would have been £12 :(
