There were a couple of good(ish) moments but not enough to redeem it and make me stop begrudging its very existence by the time I was halfway through.

terrific performances from all cast members, thoroughly recommended.
But if you don't like actory stuff and want muscle men shooting bad guys it's not for you.

I understand the stage comparison as there is the very defined sense of space it's all taking place in and has a ring of Mamet or Dogville to it in that way. I just don't think it was pulled off in a way that felt satisfying to view.
Did anyone else really struggle to hear the early dialogue too? Maybe that was the fault of the cinema I viewed it in and not the film itself.
