Notepad++ for me also, tried so many others always come back to notepad++ so I have given up even looking at another editor.

Don't like this current trendy (look I write Javascript on my MacBook) dark look, but I found a decent Eclipse like theme. The customisation options make a bit more sense than NP++ which is a bit mental at times. Fkn fast to load up though

Sublime is the best I've come across. Ctrl+P on a mounted directory is an absolute lifesaver if you're dealing with a complex codebase.
