Can confirm. Awful. Have watched whole thing so you don't have to.
Guy stands in front of apathetic crowd and plays some trancy build up on a lap top while half hardheartedly throwing a hand in the air for 3 and a half minutes and then....the track doesn't even drop. Cue next song...more trancy wank build up. No drop. And then he just walks around the stage throwing money into the crowd. Then the organisers figure he's useless and cut the PA. It is awful.
This is what the end of civilisation looks like.

that distorted noise for a kick drum. Awful stuff, and throwing coins? I was expecting notes!

Doesn't appear to make the experience any more enjoyable. Am I doing something wrong?

Seems like they didn't vet the contestants very well.

perform live with a laptop? I mean, if you're playing one song, maybe you should just finish it before you go on stage.
Oh wow, he's playing to *thousands* of people. This is awful. This world is finished.

I'll never understand why people pay to go to see a bloke playing someone else's records and occasionally press a button.
I have been a certified old codger since I was about 14.
