This is a normal post What I want to see
is a gender-aware James Bond who cares about third gen feminism, worries about people's fucking issues and isn't ashamed to talk about his feelings.

Great film that'll be. Bond's core audience of young men will be on the edge of their fucking seats.

This is a normal post yep those are the only two options
a Bond film 'about feminism' or him being a rapey cunt.

Craig's Bond seems all vulnerable and 'having issues'-y in any case

This is a normal post No-one's interested in those issues.
All James Bond films are shit, let's face it. But he supports the British film industry almost single handed. He's a sexual predator to whom women are irresistibly attracted. Young men watch it because that's what all young men want to be. And, no matter how much you dislike it, they always fucking will.

I liked the Daniel Craig Bonds precisely because I found those issues made the character interesting.

'Do you expect me to kill?'. 'No, Mr Bond, we expect you to agonise over it for some inexplicable reason and then kill, that way a tiny minority of wankers feel much better about it'.

This is a normal post Ah, you've only watched Quantum of Solace
That explains it.

This is a normal post What issues are you talking about then?

This is a normal post Obviously
quantum of solace is so typical of a Bond film that anyone who talks about classic Bond scenarios can be accused of having only seen that film.

Just like every bond film ever.

This is a normal post Don't dislike him or his performance especially but the plots....or rather writing.
First is a remake, fine. Second one is a dull plot and a dull villain, third is one big plot hole ending as Home Alone, it also starts the dreaded shrinking universe that is turbo charged in the last one (also contains the worst Bond villain ever, and that takes some doing)

This is a normal post Great film that'll be.
And as popular as Triumph of the Will.

Being only as attractive as a film would be if it's appeal was restricted to hardcore Nazis. After WW2.

Really?

A James Bond feminist film?

Who would go see that?

Nobody, that's who.

Well, maybe you but that would imply you are nobody and I would never say that. So nobody.

This is a normal post But Triumph Of The Will IS still popular.
And old-style James Bond films ARE still popular.
So I'm not really sure why you're trying to compare the two.
