This is a normal post there even a possibility they leaked it deliberately
australia has some of the highest vaccination rates in the world, a fair bit higher than britain and the states, and also had some of the longest lockdowns and strictest mask/check-in/social distancing rule/barring people, even australians trying to return, from entering the country, and compliance and public support was very high. So having suffered and done the right thing, there's huge public sentiment against people seen to be able to break the rules or be anti-vax, and so there this big public backlash against an unvaxxed (and public antivaxxer) djoko suspected of using his power to skip the rules. He's the villian of the moment, (and convenient for the government to distract from their failings to secure RAT exams) and shitcanning him might raise channel 7 ratings. It'll certainly play well here (angry serbs aside), and already a lot of australians are sharing it on facebook.
My view is that he was actually hard done by, he didn't cheat his way in but followed all the rules in his visa application and it was government incompetence and their unlawful interference which was why he won his appeal, the judge was quite scathing. (I won't bore you with the details, but we saw most of the appeal on live stream apart from when the courts microsoft teams stream was hacked with porn (SFW). seriously) He's being singled out because he's the number one tennis player with antivax views. I guess how you feel about this depends how tolerant you are for people with stupid views, but my view is that he's come to play tennis, not give a TED talk, and we should follow the law fairly

This is a normal post Fair enough, we've got partying politicos to kick the shit out of for similar reasons.
They definitely deserve it.
I was slightly confused as to why the authorities waited 'til he arrived before denying entry.

This is a normal post nowt to do with australia or our visa rules, that's up to serbia to censure him if he's broken some local covid rule
Our minister does have the power to cancel his visa if he thinks he's of bad character, but that's a formal power and my guess he'd be too pussweak to use it, instead they tried to circumvent due process when novak tried to enter the country, and got deservedly toasted on appeal.
And if they are blocking people caught dodging their own country's covid regs, I don't think boris is going to be touring the antipodes touting some trade deal any time soon, though I do feel the clocks ticking with him anyway

Well, hang on. Making a false declaration on the entry form would be sufficient to get anyone else kicked out of the country. Why not him?

This is a normal post sorry, I thought you were referring to the headline about him breaking serbian covid regs
actually, people make oversights quite often on questions about where you've travelled. generally as it's not information that would have been grounds for refusal, there is nothing particular wrong with visiting spain, they wouldn't consider as you say "sufficient to kick anyone out of the country" and I very much doubt they'll rely on this ground as a basis. There's issues around consistency of decision making. if Border Force recind novak visa on this ground, they'll be asked to justify why they don't do this with other people. Mrs cumquat is qualified in immigration law, and as I said, we followed the case quite closely.
a lot of the reporting, especially around his appeal, has been quite poor and inaccurate even around the basic facts of the case.

Which makes asking the question redundant. Why is it on the form in the first place if it's not enforced?

This is a normal post it's a portmanteu of pussy and pissweak, for added emphasis, rare now that pussy is falling out of currency s an epithet in these #metoo days
I probably should retire it. you never heard "pussy" on prisoner, not for about 20 years later

This is a normal post it's not something he needed to hide, and the idea of a bloke worth 100s of millions filling out his own visa applications is a bit implausible
anyway, it's clear that people seemed to determinised to see nefarious acts in everything he does.

This is a normal post I'm not so sure "he didn't cheat his way in".
Nothing in his behaviour at the time suggests that he had tested positive in December.
Either way, the guy is a cunt.
Not surprising if you look at his parents.

This is a normal post around 40% of people who catch covid have no visible symptoms
I don't give a shit about djokovic either, but I do care about the rule of law and it being applied fairly, and this saga is just another depressing reminder that it's not just Trump supporters who are so quick to abandon it to attack people because they have opposite views
(, Wed 12 Jan 2022, 13:10, , Reply)
This is a normal post I wrote his behaviour, not symptoms
Even when not showing any symptoms while positive, one should refrain from contact with others.
He cleary did not.
The point you are making is an important one and I agree.
But here's a guy who is denying scientific facts and willfully endangering other people in the process.
Facts are not views.
