is that these allegedly professional politicians react so badly. Surely laughing it off and continuing the interview would be a better way of handling it.

As well as being a funny stunt, it does reveal something of Truss's sense of self importance and entitlement, her lack of self awareness, and reminds us why she should never be near any position of responsibility and power. She doesn't seem to have any understanding of the scale of her mistake, and has learnt nothing from it.

Sadly, within various political systems, the entitled, deluded and pathologically self important do seem to be selected preferentially. Anyone showing signs of reasonableness and proportion rarely get ahead.

This is a normal post I'm no sure she knows how to pretend.
She's a real weird one. I think she's most probably neurodivergent in a number of ways. Something affects her spatial awareness, she usually seems to need assistance walking, suggesting dyspraxia or overwhelming social anxiety... It's said she really has conceptual difficulties with doors, entrances and exits.

She evidently has massive problems with reading comprehension, logic, social cues, social norms and values, morality, numbers, and conversational English.

It would be interesting to find out who actually owns/operates her and what their motivations are. I think she's just a passenger in her own empty vessel.

This is a normal post She seemed pretty normal when I knew her at university.
I think part of the problem when you have to spout shite on a regular basis is that you start to believe at least some of what you’re saying.

By all accounts she was fairly normal before her right wing conversion. Maybe it coincided with a brain trauma of some kind?
