As well as being a funny stunt, it does reveal something of Truss's sense of self importance and entitlement, her lack of self awareness, and reminds us why she should never be near any position of responsibility and power. She doesn't seem to have any understanding of the scale of her mistake, and has learnt nothing from it.

I'm no sure she knows how to pretend.
She's a real weird one. I think she's most probably neurodivergent in a number of ways. Something affects her spatial awareness, she usually seems to need assistance walking, suggesting dyspraxia or overwhelming social anxiety... It's said she really has conceptual difficulties with doors, entrances and exits.
She evidently has massive problems with reading comprehension, logic, social cues, social norms and values, morality, numbers, and conversational English.
It would be interesting to find out who actually owns/operates her and what their motivations are. I think she's just a passenger in her own empty vessel.
