An afternoon at the Cat Survival Trust, a sanctuary for cats, with a superb breeding program and hence contribution to the conservation of some very endangered big cats. These little guys are snow leopards, of which there are about 800 left in the wild.
These little guys are simply adorable. Doctor Terry Moore, a fellow of ZSL, likes to separate these guys in the day, but returns them at the end of the afternoon to their parents, who are completely cool with this. It was touching when you could hear mum calling out 'she's back' and these guys yelping back, and Terry and his team supervising their return on foot. I would have included this, but the video was already a bit long. Got some lovely photographs as well. Good times :)
This is my first effort using the video mode on my Canon 5D mark II, so don't be to hard! Great fun with a Fisheye stuck on the end of it, though to be honest I reckon I may just buy a proper film camera, using live view simply doesn't really work through an SLR body with footage.
Yes that's our Mark, god save the queen in the background

You heartless bastard! ;) Worried about those sharp claws, though in hindsight I was a bit of a muppet for wearing it given it must of stank of llama and alpaca after yesterday
The music is something that comes with iMovie; sounded exotic

Thanks to Jahled and god save the queen for introducing me to Terry at the Cat Survival Trust, giving a wonderful opportunity to see their work, meet some gorgeous cats, and make some photographs.

One of the cubs is allowed out of its enclosure to find its way back to its mum's enclosure.

... I shall have a couple of these as pets.
And a slow loris
And a tiger cub, genetically engineered to stay a cub.
You can all come round to play. Though it may take a while for me to get that wealthy, so I won't put it on the calendar just yet.
Oh, and have a click.

these guys sadly can't ever be reintroduced to the wild; they quite obviously have developed no caution of people; but if carefully managed any breeding program they will be introduced to resulting in more little cubs could be
