This is a link post Campaign for Mr Hanky to be the official mascot of Rectal Cancer
I know this is GC. It was me that posted it before.

My friend, whose cancer blog I shared here too, sadly lost her fight at about 7.30PM UK time yesterday.

I wanted to share this half serious, half tongue in cheek campaign she started again. Yes, it's self indulgent of me, so what?

My condolences...

And I think Mr Hanky for mascot is a brilliant idea. It would be sick if the idea had come from Joe Public but it's utterly fitting coming from someone who suffered from rectal cancer. Black humor, gallows humor, at it's finest.

She sounds like a wonderful person and I hope this wish of her's comes true....
