I regard the BBC as a pretty good media Corp.

I watch very little TV but to be able to watch something like Sherlock straight-through without having to break every 10 mins for adverts makes the license fee worthwhile as far as I'm concerned.

Any fule Private Eye reader knows that the BBC's comments are twisting the truth somewhat. It's true they've reduced senior management jobs. Theyv'e done so by enormously increasing the number of lower grade middle managers, being paid.. er.. quite close to higher management salaries.
