I reckon whenever a newspaper is forced to print an apology
they should be made to dedicate the same amount of space to do so, on the same pages the original story was printed on.
So if they had a front page splash of "PERSON DOES SHOCKING THING", which is then continued on pages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11 & 12 - the would have to print the apology as a front page splash, and then on pages 2, 3, 4, etc...
That'd make them think twice before printing utter shite.
