This is a link post Florian Schneider stuff up for auction
As odd, gorgeous, quirky and expensive as you'd expect.

This is a normal post It doesn't actually seem that
expensive, considering.

This is a normal post Though people would think you were taking
the piss if you had a mad looking box with a load of knobs on it as an objet d'art in your living room, and you told them that it was owned by one of Kraftwerk.

This is a normal post Mad looking musical boxes with loads of knobs on are intrinsically useful
for making mad sounding knobby box music.

This is a normal post I can imagine b3ta posters having boxes full of knobs already.

This is a normal post I own several.
Truly, I can supply my own knobs.

This is a normal post Always useful to have backup knobs, just in case.

This is a normal post Whenever people throw away white goods, ovens, and audio equipment,
I like to rip their knobs off.

I also have a few pots of knobs. I love Moog stuff and have several of their stomp boxes but the knobs are crap. I've replaced them all with chicken heads so I can see at a distance what is going on.

This is a normal post It still has a month left and some of the electronics are rare enthusiast gear.

Like this guy who goes thru it all...

I'd luv to have a Hohner Guitaret but they sell for over $2,000 and the two in the auction could hit $3,500-$4,500 with the Kraftwerk provenance.

Fortunately, someone uploaded samples of one for free.

Sadly, there isn't a Kraftwerk branded musical pocket calculator.

This is a normal post You could have gone with The Muppets/Fraggles/Dark Crystal Henson auction instead.
Contains fewer saxophones

This is a normal post Indeed, I was taken aback by the amount of saxophonage on offer.
So I've put a bid on Zoot the Muppet sax player instead.
