but I'd imagine it would play merry hell with the network as you're passing through the cells at 17,000 mph.

I don't want to be a downer on all this, but how old is this file & how much of it has actually been built?

Everything after 2007 either uses future tense or is ambiguous.
"The final solar panel will help produce enough total electricity on the station to power 200 homes"

It also talks of the shuttles "when the fleet is retired in 2010...", I'm pretty sure that at least one flew this year...
