This is a normal post I've just been reading Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson
And apparently Morecamble used to be quite the place with many cinemas, music halls and what not many years ago. But then Blackpool became the crappy party capital of that area.

Still, I've been to neither, though Blackpool sounds wank.
