Smooth landing.
I'm sure they normally use wheels.
[edit] No injuries apparently.

Impressive
But I'm disappointed that they didn't plonk the nose down onto the roof of a moving car. It's what would have happened in the fillums.

Yes!
See, they should have never cancelled thunderbirds, this would've been sorted out no problem

Official reports state that the pilots were pissed up and did it for a laugh.

I just flew in yesterday
I hate flying, and this is why. Imagine the hour they spent waiting for the fuel to run out. I bet there wasn't a dry seat in the house.

And also being treated like a terrorist for a couple of hours either end of the journey. And like cattle for the rest of it.

Very odd.
There's a mechanical backup for landing gear extension. Pull the lever and all the uplock pins release - gravity and aero drag then does the rest.
In order to perform a belly landing, either they had a complete failure of both the normal (hydraulic) and emergency (mechanical) extension systems, or they elected to do it. Can't see why they'd do the latter.
