This is a link post Someone gave me a knackered Gopro HD. I fixed it, now it's mine :) I made this!
I cycle almost every day, so here's my regular (short) ride. Pissing down with rain so only 23 miles today, usually its more than that. A nice day I'll do 40+ miles.

BTW, anyone know why Windows Live Movie Maker borked some of the transitions?

This is a normal post My bike has an engine,
And I was still impressed with some of the speeds you appeared to be going.

This is a normal post About 30-32mph in the fastest bits
But it isn't that hilly around here. There are some hills north of Manchester down which I'll hit about 45.

This is a normal post Jeeze,
my roadie has never and will never see wet. You must have balls of steel riding that quick, even if you were on some 25c Marathons it must've been sketchy. Looks like a nice route though, any chance its on my (didsbury) side of mancs?

I'm not far from you. Look on Google Maps for Ashley Road, between Tatton Park and Rostherne Mere. Big long straight road. That's where I top out. If I were you I'd go down toward Northenden, through Sharston Industrial Estate, and along Styal Road to Wilmslow. From there you can head past Alderley Edge and you've got access to Cheshire, some great roads down there.

I wish there were some Nottingham B3tans. But it's just me, I think. There wasn't enough secret formula put in the local reservoirs.

I'll have a scoot around on the hardtail and see if I can find some of these roads. If (likelyhood slim) the weather clears up I'll drag the carbon out and have a look around but I have a definite fear of damaging a carbon frame especially whilst it's not insured :(

Ta for the info.

This is a normal post It's nice to see one of these that doesn't end with some in lycra shouting at a van driver.
Looks like a nice ride :)
If my daily comute didn't involved 50 miles of the A1 each way i'ld do the same.
