This is a normal post Meh me too.
But only as a nipper. I was 15/16 as acid started taking off. I had to go live in Japan just before my 17th (I was a proper Kevin the teenager over that decision taken by my parents) it was sooooo unfair. I got back and then rave happened. It was fun.

This is a link post As an addition to Rave Friday - here is Vision 1992 ...
at Popham Airfield - it was a mad night and the Prodigy didn't get on because it pissed down outside and they were scared the sparks might go.
(, Fri 3 Jun 2011, 18:54, Reply)
This is a normal post I was there ...
and the Prodigy were on for at least one song - cos we couldn't get into the tent. Having said that we were so far back it might have been a tape.

Absolutely one of the worst nights ever -

They hiked the ticket price at the gate, after people queued for hours - though later the crowd stormed the fences, so the tents were mobbed.
They didn't allow re-entries so we couldn't get any gear (clothes or otherwise) out of the cars.
It PISSED down
The 'Bladerunner set' turned out to be a pile of scrap.
People were keeling over from dodgy drugs (may have been allegic reactions to Junior Disprin, which was also on sale at £15 a pop).
They were charging £5 for water (props to the guys who were handing it out free under the counter, though)
It blew a fucking GALE
One of the queen poles fell into the crowd (miraculously killing no one).

Oh and some bloke died in a ditch on their way out.
(, Fri 3 Jun 2011, 20:06, Reply)
This is a normal post Yep, it got a bit moody with the steamers working the crowds...
one of my mates got threatened with a knife.

I just stayed on one of the 'bleacher' stands and danced there for hours with a couple of mates. Luckily we got sorted out before the shit went down. I had good memories - thousands probably didn't :)

been trying to work out what this track was called for years (the piano really makes my hairs stand up)

That's another one ticked off the "what the fuck is this?" mix tape then. I think the only one I've got left to ID heavily samples Jim Carey from The Mask

This is a normal post That's a clip take from the documentary/movie called "What the bleep do we know!?"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_the_Bleep_Do_We_Know!%3

...which is linked with the cult, Ramtha's School of Enlightenment. Try watching the whole film, it'll make you feel anything BUT warm inside... lots of sickly spiritual pseudo-science about consciousness and our place in the universe. As I remember it there is this clip, and one other similar one - and that's it, the rest of the movie is utter wank.
