That is quite funny. With the complexity of the Japanese language(s?) it's amusing there's no way to indicate a plural without an extra word -- not exactly quick if you are being attacked by ninja[s]
It's also amusing that you think Japanese grammar matters at all in a language so removed from it that translation is difficult.
Unless you are suggesting there is no concept of more than one ninja in Japanese you're just posting "I once learned some Japanese.".
