This is a question Addicted

Cigarettes, gambling, porn and booze. What's your addiction? How low have you sunk and how have you tried to beat it?

Thanks to big-girl's-blouse for the suggestion

I thought so...
But now I'm not so sure because I can't tell if the majority of these replies are ironic or not. Beaten at my own game eh?

Capital G
Apostrophe after the d. Also it is "you're" not "your", you bait-monger you.

Incomplete sentence
Dear Sir/Madam,
In addition to the other errors in your posting, you have committed the faux pas of crafting an incomplete phrase. As a copy editor (which is what we in the colonies call a sub-editor), I would suggest the following phrasing:
``For God's(*) sake, is it really hard to not sound like you're illiterate [you fucking pedant]? ''

*: The letter G is capitalized as a matter of style, not grammar.
N.B.: Material in square brackets is optional

Oo-er.
Contrary to standard practice, you just split your infinitive.

That's a mistake up with which Strunk and White will not put.

Strunk and White
Touche, sir. Strunk and White, however, is a wretched disease. The publication which employs me has its own style guide, which gives a significant amount of leeway to editors (even when they're deprived of sleep). As a sad side note, I doubt whether most readers would even notice if the newspaper were as filled with inaccuracies as the original post.

Booby Trap
I could have a field day, or is bait being laid here by a cunning linguist?
