This is a question When Animals Attack

I once witnessed my best friend savaged near to death by a flock of rampant killer sheep.

It's a kill-or-be-killed world out there and poor Steve Irwin never made it back alive. Tell us your tales of survival.

slugs
has anyone ever stood on one in their bare feet?

bleeeeuugggh!

i dont know what i hate most about it. that their bodies pop up around your toes or that until you look down, you have no clue what you could have just stepped on.

..
yeah, once when i was bringing in the washing after dark.

its like stepping on flem. It snaps, crackles and pops. -its sort of like rice crispys, Even though it has no bones. its only when you look at your foot and see green slime on it that you make the connection.

im sure someone has just walked over my grave....eugh

why, yes
One warm summer evening/night, after eating far too many magic mushies, me and my friend wandered through the local forest...and for some reason decided to take off our shoes and socks.
The sensation of walking barefeet on gravel while tripping is very interesting, right until you feel the first squished slug oozing up between your toes.

Slugs
Slugs is not the worstest.

My (late) moggy was a champion mouser. Occasionally a mouse would be unwise enough to come visit the house in the dead of night. Came into the living room all bleary eyed one morning and something went 'squidge' under foot. Dead mouse. Or more accurately half a dead mouse. Hopped to the kitchen to rinse mouse lung and entrails off my foot.

Cat was probably laughing his ginger ass off somewhere.

similar but worse
standing on a snail, in socks. Theres cracking, and squishing, and embedding, and seepage, and soaking. Its horrifying. Socks soaked in slugjuice with bits of shell hanging off.
