This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

I've just bought a Merkur Razor
I am a man now

I'm also bleeding to death at my desk after slicing into my carotid artery this morning.

Never found the need for an adjustable one myself.
I've found that "automatic" self adjustment takes place as I shave. As in gently varying the angle of the blade to the face and the pressure as you shave to accommodate the varying bristle characteristics across the face. But subconsciously, like.
I use a gilette flare tip rocket. lovely.

Be a proper man and use one of these.

But they can be found cheaper than that on eBay. The only way you'll get a closer shave is if you do it from the inside.

for a closer shave you should use a Bic or a hotel razor.
It gets to the hypodermis each time, nothing closer.

i've been using one of these for about the past 3 and a half years.

I do have the classic Barbershop type but I can't be bothered with stropping each time. Plus the feather is much sharper.

I find
the stropping quite calming, though I'm told it makes me look a bit psycho.
